I have been working at Look Magazine in a non-paid, admin position helping with the LOOK Show which is on the 17th September, for about two weeks and I am completely 'loving it!'. Everyday it seems some extra amazing thing is being added to the show and I am so excited to be working on it! I literally CANNOT WAIT until the final project is all finished!
Apart from working with one of my favourite people, Miss Lara Lain who blogs I Feel Like I Dreamt It I am getting to contribute and work in the industry I have always wanted to and even though it is not an editorial role I feel like I am working towards producing something amazing!
The magazine industry and journalism in general is so difficult to break into that I am so thankful to Lara and have been working as hard as I can! I have to make the most of it because I know so many people would kill for this chance and I am making sure I take every opportunity!
As someone who loves Fashion, Style and Celebrities it is difficult to imagine a better place to work than at LOOK! Everyone I have met has been so welcoming and helpful even though I know they must be so busy. And seeing all the different looks (sorry about the pun) I have definitely been thinking of updating my wardrobe.
After temping for so long it is really inspiring to work on the Show and I cannot wait for the next few weeks and all the challenges and opportunities they bring!
